Starting, growing, and maintaining a mindful practice- in the real world.

In this section of the program, we will cover the foundations of mindfulness. Including, but not limited to, body scans, moment-to-moment non-judgemental awareness, and meditation practices.

Moving from awareness to acceptance to action.

Understanding how principles of awareness and acceptance play a role in our progress to initiate and maintain mindfulness and movement.

A physical practice- for all levels.

Participants will learn a number of ways to meet the physical activity recommendations through yoga movements.

A community of practice.

No behavior change intervention would be complete without the added benefits of "the group." When we are part of something bigger than ourselves, we can share our journey- warts and all- and have support throughout the process.

Mindful Movement

Mindfulness-based stress reduction and healthy eating interventions have continuously demonstrated their impact on behaviors, but less attention has been paid to the impact of mindful physical activity for the general adult population.

Join me in pursuit of a mindful physical activity lifestyle.
